The Mighty Susquehannas are an ensemble of musicians who bring a variety of styles and influences to the table with a wide catalog of original material. Their self proclaimed genre of River Funk has been central to their sound as the years pass along. They blend together healthy doses of Funk, Jam-Band, and Alternative Rock that has a little something for everybody. With a wide variety of influences, the resulting music is a refreshing soundscape that leaves the listener yearning for more of their uniquely original music.

What started out in the Summer of 2011 as a group of friends from Bloomsburg, PA with a shared interest in kicking out the jams had quickly formed into something much bigger. Unfortunately in the Summer of 2014 founding members, Craig Hallowell Jr. and Erik Pederson, had life-changing opportunities they chose to pursue. The following months featured a rotating line-up of great local and regional musicians who helped change the current and direction of the band. By the beginning of 2015 the band had re-emerged stronger than ever as a 4-piece and put together a solid catalog of new original music that ranges from heavy rock to spacey transcendental jams. In December of 2015, the band released their debut album  "Rise from the Sludge" and are currently playing shows throughout the Northeast PA region.
